Mission Statement
It is our mission to provide massage treatments using modalities and techniques beneficial to clients in a relaxing, safe, and nurturing environment for anyone at any age. We hold ourselves to the highest standards: We value kindness, compassion, attentive customer service, and professionalism.
Therapist/Owner
Jody Lynn (Swope) Arnall is the owner and Massage Therapist of Touch of Tranquility Massage. She is New Mexico licensed and Nationally Certified in Massage Therapy and Bodywork. A provider of relaxation, therapeutic and deep tissue massage she also provides spa inspired treatments like hot stone and salt glow. Jody is a 2005 graduate of Universal Therapeutic Massage Institute. Eager to help people manage stress and pain Jody started her own practice in November 2005 renting a room from her massage school. She continued her massage education by completing 15 hours of Orthopedic Massage. She has built a successful and thriving practice through client referrals. In 2007 she joined 3 other therapists at Massage Health Care Center where she continues to grow her practice. Jody hopes to develop her Reflexology skills with training in 2009 and is working toward being an instructor.
Jody has a diverse background. She is a New Mexico native raised primarily in beautiful Los Ranchos, New Mexico. She attended New Mexico State University where she obtained her BS in Education in 1994. She worked as both a teacher and a pre-school director for several years. While applying for graduate school, she took a part-time job and fell in love with the skincare/spa world. After 7 years working for the number one skin care retailer in the world, Clinique, she followed her heart and went to school with hopes of having her own day spa. While in school she realized her true calling was helping clients manage stress and chronic pain through massage therapy.
When she is not helping others find balance and peace in their own lives she is a wife, step-mom, animal enthusiast and American Tribal belly dancer. She has recently taken up running and hopes to run her first 10k this summer at our local Run for the Zoo event.
Community Relations
In addition to providing services, it is our goal to be involved in supporting other businesses and the children of the community. Touch of Tranquility Massage is seeking the opportunity to sponsor a team or a local charitable event with both time and financial support.
We are also available to support and educate the community on the benefits of massage therapy.
